Low 40's in shooting, below 20% in 3's. I dont think Atlanta missed a shot the last 4 minutes! They shot 60%. When Atlanta shoots that way, they can beat anybody. I agree with Denny when he said Hinrich getting hurt is blessing for the Hawks. Teague has played a very good series. On the other hand. Boozer is playing better. Hope he keeps it up.
Im slightly worried about this series now because the Hawks once again came out shooting very well (and it didnt help our defense didnt show up). Horford and Smith also showed up as well. I dont like Rose takin that many shots either and even though Deng and Korver werent shooting well, I expect Derrick to continue to trust them and give them the ball in positions they can score. I believe we'll take the game at home, but we really have to battle the next 2 games if we want to win this series. I knew it was going to 6, now Im slightly fearing that its leaning in the Hawks favor.
Can't say Thibs is being outcoached. Atlanta might have as much talent as the bulls. Rose is clearly the best player out there, but after that Atlanta might have 5 of the next six players, at least offensively. The bulls didn't get the 1st seed because they were the most talented team, especially not offensively. The bulls have been in every game and could have swept if Atlanta stayed true to form and underachieved.
The other thing is that as you get deeper in the playoffs, the teams and coaching usually gets better. So the bulls are naturally going to look worse because Atlanta has been practicing against them for a week now.
