John Morrison stated on his Twitter account this morning that he's undergoing surgery to repair his neck. He wrote, "I'm about to get an operation to fix my neck- I will return @RonKillings." The Raw Superstar did not work this past weekend's Raw live events despite being advertised. It was reported last night that Morrison is legitimately injured. Source EWN
It'll be interesting to see how long he'll be out, but now the beating he received last Monday makes a little more sense, as they can put it in storyline that Truth is the one that hurt him. Now I'm just curious as to HOW he got hurt...I'm assuming it was at some point in the cage match...because it'd been really irresponsible of WWE to let him stay in that match if he'd already had a legit neck injury.
