    This card still has some interesting fights but I agree with oldmangrouch, without edgar/maynard 3 it has lost some "umph"

    As far as I know hes never switched a card from PPV to being free, no? How would he even do that? Could/would Spike put it up on short notice?

    It'd be nice but its never happened even on other cards where the main event dissipates (i.e. when Lesnar/Carwin fell apart and Ortiz/Forrest 2 took its place).

    do ppv's get ordered days before the day of the fights? i could see that as a reason for not switching, it would be a hassle to credit back the people that have already ordered the event.

    I think they are pretty much locked in with the PPV provider to air it on pay-TV.

    Dunno if you get charged for a buy until it happens. I know if you buy something, don't watch/record it, you can get credit back on your account.
