I like! Going back to the colors of the old Bullets. http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=6520853
Changing the name of the team was one of the dumbest moves I've ever seen a professional franchise make.
Those are awesome! I love the fact that they've revived the lower-case-l-as-arm-reaching-for-rebound from the old Bullets. (Except now it's the lower case d in dc - see the video below.) The video is great, mostly for Jordan Crawford's "I wanna be anywhere but here" expression.
I really like them! Maybe I might just go out from my traditional "ONLY BLAZERS" jerseys for this one. Maybe I will find a role player, so it's not like I'm a fan of a player.
Wizards is just as stupid of a name as the Lakers or Jazz... names that mean nothing to their respective cities.
I grew up a Cubs fan, but that didn't stop me from rocking a red, white and blue Expos cap back in the day. BNM
Man I loved the Expos when I was a kid... I was actually really bummed that we didn't get them to move here.
It was the ONLY non-Cubs hat I had growing up - and I bought it at Wrigley Field. Never had an A's hat, but they were my second favorite team back in the 70s. Charlie Finley lived about 10 miles form where I grew up. I got to visit his place a couple times as my dad knew someone who worked for him. It was pretty wild, with peacocks and monkeys. Finley was quite a character. BNM
Agree, both teams should have changed their names, the Jazz made sense in New Orleans, same for the Lakers in Minneapolis. I'm not sure what they should have been, but I have a few thoughts.................
