Thank God Miller is a classy player and one of the best PGs in the league right now. We should be grateful that he has the skill and "team philosophy" to help his team get theirs! It's great to be a Miller and Blazers fan!
To recap what just happened here, some posters change their views on hard fouls/cheap shots depending on whether or not a player on "their" team commits said foul/shot. Others are willing to call a cheap shot a cheap shot, regardless of team affiliation. Since this thread was created to illustrate what monsters Lakers fans are for defending a cheap shot by Bynum, and I offered proof of a Blazer homer changing his stance regarding "intent" solely due to Andre Miller being a Blazers, I think my work here is done. Homers are homers, and they will protect their own. There is nothing wrong with that; then again, I fully expect many Laker fans to defend Bynum, just as I would expect many Blazer fans to defend Miller. The key is to actually recognize this, though, instead of compromising your integrity solely based on the team involved in the incident. Have a great day!
I agree. Miller has done a great job of maintaining the status quo since he came to Portland, and I thank him for it. Now is the time to upgrade that position, though, since clearly Andre isn't going to be a key player on a title-contending Blazer team, and his contract has value in terms of a trade, even if it is just to move up in the draft to try and get Irving, Knight, or even Walker.
Yeah...Ive just been watching you defend yourself from the crazies in this thread thanks for being rational
