    A few more details from the Chicago Tribune.

    "Police said the incident was being treated as a medical emergency and foul play was not suspected. An autopsy is set for Friday, and an official with the Fulton County medical examiner's office said there would be no further information released until then."

    An update from the Chicago Tribune on the autopsy results:

    "The cause of NBC5 Chicago sportscaster Daryl Hawks’ death remained unknown following an autopsy conducted today by the Fulton County medical examiner’s office in Atlanta."

    "In a press release, Dr. Randy Hanzlick, chief medical examiner of Fulton County, said that no obvious cause of death was identified in the initial phases of the postmortem examination."

    More testing is planned, including toxicology, but it will take up to two weeks for the results.

    Man, this is weird. The guy was 38, healthy and very active.
