The article's a great read. http://sports.espn.go.com/chicago/nba/columns/story?columnist=isaacson_melissa&id=6537606 "I'm really proud of him because he's somebody who has dealt with a lot of things this year," Noah said. "Chicago is not an easy place to play and for him to step up the way he stepped up. … I'm sure he's feeling great. The guy was hurt and you guys were so quick to hate on him. For him to be in this position and have a game the way he played today, I'm sure it's going to shut up a lot of critics." ... "You have him scoring and playing big like that," Atlanta guard Joe Johnson said after Thursday's game, "obviously they're going to be tough to beat." ... More importantly, a huge load is lifted off Rose, who can play a more traditional point guard role as he did Thursday (albeit with a superb 19 points and 12 assists) and, as an added bonus, still be there in the clutch if needed.
Nope, I'm not gonna love him. He's been hurt, he's feeling better, that makes us better. What's there not to like?
Obviously, Boozer was terrific in game 6. I've never seen his jumper look better. He wasn't just making them...virtually every one was a perfect swish. Amazing. When he plays like that, he's a star of at least the caliber of Bosh. It's what the Bulls need out of him and what fans expect of him. When Rose scored 44 against the Hawks we said, "I guess the ankle's all better." Here's hoping that Boozer's all better now. We need him and he's got some catching up to do.
