Name some of the good 3 point shooters regardless if they are free agents restricted agents ect. I keep hearing people name shooters and then others say that they arent really good so just name all of them.
Ben Gordon: career 40% Stephen Curry: career 44% Arron Afflalo: career 41% Anthony Morrow : career 45% Daniel Gibson: career 41%
You forgot to mention Sean Marks, he shot 100% in 3s this year for us. On a real note, I would love to have Ray Allen in a Blazer jersey through some type of trade.
Kevin Love Martell Webster Here's a more comprehensive list: http://www.nba.com/statistics/playe...itScope=GAME&qualified=Y&yearsExp=-1&splitDD=
Anthony Morrow would be good, I'd also go after Steve Novak. They are limited specialists who are not too valuable in other aspects of the game, which should mean they'd be less costly to acquire. I want us to get one or two specialists to camp on the end of the bench in case we are throwing up bricks from the outside we can put them in to get the offense back on track. When we arn't hitting threes teams start packing it in, zoning up on us killing our offense. I want LaMarcus and Wallace to have room inside. Gibson or Afflalo or Gary Neal could also similarly work. I'd avoid Ben Gordon, his contract is to much for a bench player; Steph Curry is out too since the Warriors would want to much talent in return.
Ben Gordon turns it up in the playoffs, averaging 20 ppg. We need someone like that. Oh, and he's won a playoff series. Maybe he could show his first round champion ring to our guys to inspire them.
The Bulls let him walk for nothing and are now in the ECF. If a team gets better when they lose you for nothing how valuable are you?
Jason Richardson is a free agent no? Hes a very good 3 pt shooter. Kelenna Azubuike is a FA too I think and could come cheap. He wrecked his knee two years ago and hasn't been back since. A natural fit in Portland. Other FA in 2011: Brian Scalabrine, Troy Murphy, Anthony Parker, Peja, JR Smith, Mike Dunleavy Jr., Battier, James Jones has a player option (I think?), Michael Redd.
lol I'm a Kelenna fan. He was an underrated shooter and a pretty good athlete. I seriously do hope he makes it back. Hes sort of like a Wesley Matthews type though I think.
They were without him last year and were only the 8th seed. They got beat bad by the Cavs without him after taking the Cs to 7 games with him the year before. They got better this year because of additions of Thibadeau, Korver, Boozer, and Brewer and the improved play of Derrick Rose.
Azibuke's D was pretty decent prior to the knee wrecking. Afflalo is also a good defender from those mentioned. just to throw another name out who is a good 3 point shooter and defender, Wesley Matthews. Oh and Shane Battier STOMP
Now that is a good list. Matthews we have, Battier we should try our hardest to sign this summer....Assuming there is an NBA summer
