    He just tweeted this:

Not leaving jus yet guys just moving out of my house. Gotta stay here in ptown and hang with everyone before I go back to Australia

What does that mean? Is he leaving the team?

There is likely going to be a lockout, and he's probably headed home for the summer, like he did last year. He may even get an extended trip this time if there is no access to the practice facility for the players, as there is in other summers.

The lease is up on his place. He's going to move into the house that Wesley Matthews is renting from KP until he knows if he has a contract with the Blazers or if there will or won't be a lockout.

Will he and Matthews share the bedroom? I always wondered why they call him Patty.

I hope any roommate arguments don't carry over to the court. They should pre-decide how to split grocery bills or each time it'll be an argument.

Much ado about nothing, IMO. I could be wrong.

I agree. It is much ado about nothing -- no matter how you look at it: Leaving for the summer or leaving for good.

On the court. probably has no impact.

For those who follow players off the court, Mills will be missed if he is gone. I like when the local rat pack take in a Timbers game, hang out at the local establishments and intermix with the local businesses.

Mills is one of the rat pack and the locals who he has touched during the season will miss him.

Hope he is back with the Blazers next year.

Yeah, I guess you are above all that stuff.

But reality for me is I live in a small town and root for a small town team. Done the big city big city fan thing . . . actually kind of like the small town feel. To each their own.

(shoulkd we even start talking small college basketball and small college basketball fans)

    I'm above all that stuff?

I care more about a team that wins than whether the 13th or 14th man embraces the community. I dunno, could just be me...

Sure winning is great. But reality with small mkt teams have a big disadvantage in professional sports. So personally I look to find other aspects I enjoy about the Blazers. But we are kind of rehashing the jail blazer days and winning over character. Everyone has thier preference. Not saying all or nothing . . .most have some balance but lean one way or another. I lean towards character guys. I'm guessing on this board I am in the minority.

Yes, Mills is the biggest character here since Mychal Thompson.
