    1) Trade Barganan and barbosa for Pau Gasol.
Why the Lakers would do it? Bargnani is nearly a decade younger, they get a shooter which they need, bargnani compliments bynum better and they arent getting dwight howard for pau

    2) trade demar and third pick for tyreke evans?

    3) sign wilson chandler for 6 years and 36 million

    4) trade ed davis and kleiza for pietrus and robin lopez

    2011-12 raptors

    pg: caledron, bayless
    sg: tyreke evans, pietrus
    sf: chandler, james johnson
    pf: pau, amir
    c: robin lopez, dorsey

Its only a 5 year difference. Pau>>>>>>Bargnani. They could trade Bynum for Dwight. Pau/Dwight>>>>Bargs/Bynum. Tyreke trade is more plausible but still not great for the Kings. Ed Davis is better than Robin Lopez. The only one I would agree with is Wilson Chandler.

robin lopez is a centre, there are a scarcity of them in the nba, hence the notion of overpaying.

no way magic trade dwight for bynum. bynum has proven himself to be immature, inconsistent and injury prone.

I wrote a beautiful, Simmons-ian post but then I clicked forward and lost it. I swear.

Not to be too much of a salary nerd (NBA fans are fucking accountants and statisticians now, go watch baseball you twats) but it would seem that our goal should be to assemble a cheap, good team. Stock up on rookie contracts, shed long term deals, and try to build Oklahoma City North. A little luck tonight would go a long way. With a hard cap looming our best hope is to clear space and hope last-minute teams give us cherry deals in the coming panic.

Not too pleased with the decision to keep Bryan bid against myself Colangelo but someone is better than no one. No one gave us Araujo.

Trading for aging big men (aging anything) = treadmill team = one playoff appearance every four/five years = no thanks.
