He should take every opportunity to celebrate the release of his birth certificate. It's going to be the crowning achievement of his presidency.
yeah...how dare he claim to be American. He is obviously throwing up a big "Fuck you" to anyone who was a birther but that group is small , but arrogant because of this?...no Its doesnt seem to be normal Presidential behavior...but Ive never seen a president drain a 3 or try to squash a problem (the cop and the black professor) over a beer publicly either
You do know what being arrogant is right? Throwing a big "fuck you" to someone is being arrogant. Its bush league marketing. Some flunky intern who thinks they're creative because they have 1000 twitter followers thought of this shit. Not surprised by this at all and it should get pulled sooner rather than later.
meh..... So if you were in a fight in your youth, beat the kid up, and before walking away said "Fuck you" then thats being arrogant? I guess... Arrogant is thinking you are better than someone....he didnt think it, he proved it
Funny idea. Perhaps it would have been a better gesture to allow the hospital where he was born to offer those T-shirts to raise money for their foundation.
This another example of how everything is about him alone George W. Bush speech after capture of Saddam: The success of yesterday's mission is a tribute to our men and women now serving in Iraq . The operation was based on the superb work of intelligence analysts who found the dictator's footprints in a vast country. The operation was carried out with skill and precision by a brave fighting force. Our servicemen and women and our coalition allies have faced many dangers in the hunt for members of the fallen regime, and in their effort to bring hope and freedom to the Iraqi people. Their work continues, and so do the risks. Today, on behalf of the nation, I thank the members of our Armed Forces and I congratulate 'em. Barack Obama speech after killing of bin Laden: And so shortly after taking office, I directed Leon Panetta, the director of the CIA, to make the killing or capture of bin Laden the top priority of our war against al Qaeda, even as we continued our broader efforts to disrupt, dismantle, and defeat his network. Then, last August, after years of painstaking work by our intelligence community, I was briefed on a possible lead to bin Laden. It was far from certain, and it took many months to run this thread to ground. I met repeatedly with my national security team as we developed more information about the possibility that we had located bin Laden hiding within a compound deep inside of Pakistan . And finally, last week, I determined that we had enough intelligence to take action, and I authorized an operation to get Osama bin Laden and bring him to justice. Today, at my direction, the United States launched a targeted operation against that compound in Abbottabad , Pakistan . --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
So I'm guessing both of these are cherry picked, which equals loss of credibility. He talked about America a ton, yet you seem to only put in there the part where he was trying to convey what happened. Secondly, I'm wondering what he should have done while explaining to the American people what happened. Should he have found another pronoun, would that have helped? Would "we" have made it better for you? Some of you guys over there on the right make myself, and most Americans laugh.
Man . . . Barrack has a lot of Swag these days. Right or wrong, he and his adminstration are conducting business with a lot of confidence.
