He's a long-term project. Height/Length-wise he's LaMarcus Aldridge but he needs to put on a good 30 lbs. Though I'm not sure he can put on too much weight - he has very narrow shoulders.

What does he have in common with Olawakandi?

We aren't going to get a sure talent, might as well go for the big with potential.

For the first time ever, I am rooting for the Blazers to trade out of the draft.

A rookie GM bobbing for gold nuggets in a septic tank? This can't end well.

When did Chris Johnson's brother enter the draft?

    Yay projects from foreign countries.

Most of these mocks have us taking a project from a foreign country.....Maybe we had a pattern?

DX has Reggie Jackson going at the next spot--I'd rather the athletic point guard than the foreign stick figure.

LOL. I feel the same way, but suspect we're probably going to end up with two or three rookies, what with the way Allen seems to love to buy draft picks.

Maybe, but Jackson can't shoot and is a 6'3" tweener. He'll never be an elite NBA PG, IMO, and I'm not sure about him as a back-up as a pure PG. Plus, he was born in Italy, so he's foreign as well. :)

He does have incredibly long arms, though.

    42% from 3 (on 5 3pa/g) = can't shoot? 4.5 apg & 1.99 A/TO ratio = tweener?

I'm not sure why "he'll never be an elite NBA PG" is an argument against drafting someone at 21--how many future "elite" players drop that far? I'd be happy if he ends up being an average starter at PG, which I fully believe he has the tools to be.

Yeah, I see him as a Tweener. Bayless averaged 5apg at Arizona. If Jackson weren't seen as a tweener, he'd be a certain lottery pick, given his measurables.

Bayless averaged 4 assists, and 3 turnovers, not like Jackson at all. That's a terrible comparison, really; very lazy.
