He didn't say there was "something out there". He said that "something happens after we die". That could be nothing, couldn't it?

NateBishop seems to be an agnostic, as I am.

no afterlife = no reason not to take everyone out with you when you go down, son.

    no repercussions!

That's why I'm an agnostic. For the "shoot my way out" death option.

you can also kill people, as long as you don't get caught since there is no moral code. :MARIS61:

Yes, yes, I can. Without the fetters of religion, I am free to prey upon my fellow humans in any way I desire and, believe you me, I do.

also, the concept of monogamy is non-logical for non-believers. Fuck everything that moves.

I agree. Jealousy and possessiveness are entirely religious concepts...any non-religious type would have no reason to seek monogamous relationships.

I mean, eagles have monogamous relationships, but they're mostly Christian.

13/15 with one really embarrassing miss.

While I follow a religion, I have yet to receive the gift of faith. My wife has it and we're trying to pass it on to our son, but no matter how hard I have tried, it has eluded me.

Believing in a heaven or a hell and acting accordingly to me seems secondary; living a good and moral life should be its own reward. I hope there's a heaven and that I've earned my place there after I die--although I couldn't complain about some serious time in Purgatory given the way I've lived much of my life or even a trip to Hell if God is particularly vengeful--but I hope that my life has served to improve the lives of my family and friends and hasn't adversely affected humanity as a whole. That question has yet to be answered in my mind.
