Just heard this on ESPNEWS. He got traded to the Bucks for TJ Frod. Pretty good for both teams. No internet source yet.
A very nice deal for the raptors, they badly needed a pure PG, and TJ ford is probably the best young pure PG in the NBA. Like i said, coangelo is great in making trades, and he's quickly making them look a lot more like a young phoenix.
Wow. GREAT for Toronto. I mean Charlie V, in my opinion, will be an All-Star down the road, book it. But TJ Ford fills the PG need and it also releaves the PF logjam. Good move by Toronto, TJ Ford is an excellent young PG. But now Milwaukee needs a PG lol, Mo Williams is very solid but he can't do it alone.
While I don't think it's a great move, I like it. The Raptors needed a point guard, and here it is. Like I said,Look the F*ck out
I was saying that to the New York Knicks. They are the one team the aptors might have a better record than
I personally dont think that they should have given him up because he is a good player and will definatley have an amazing career but they did have a log jam at the PF position....fixes their problem so i guess that i like this deal for them.
Colangelo is doing an excellent job so far. OK I may have gotten out of hand when I said it was a GREAT deal for Toronto, it is a hell of a good one. But I'm wondering, with the past reports of Magloire to Toronto, could he be included as well?
This is really a great deal by Toronto. Colangelo made a great move. Now they finally have their true pg and dont' have as many powe fowards anymore. I did like Charlie in Toronto though
I think it's a good trade for both teams. Milwaukee still has Maurice Williams and Charlie Bell, so they'll be fine. The Raptors unload a PF which as Celtic said, they have a logjam at and obviously they get the point guard they've been longing for.
I must say, I'm a bit surprised that Milwaukee gave up their best pg option instead of moving one of the other two. But that being said, it was a good deal for both teams. Both players have alot of potential, and TJ Ford was basically exactly what Toronto needed. This hurts as a Celtic fan tho. One less team to actually get to beat up on. Oh well, there's still New York.
I agree with you guys. After the draft they were packed at PF and they definitely needed a point guard. I say they go 5 games under .500 10 games max. They have a decent squad, only problem is that they are VERY young.

The Toronto Raptors have a ture point who can run the show for the next few years. Colengelo is a genius, what a great move for Toronto. I still don't know what to say about Villanueva to the Bucks, i'm still in shock over this. :no1:
I wouldn't like this if i was a Bucks fan. I mean, TJ Ford is realy something special, and what he brings to the team is very rare. CV is a great player and all, but i think TJ is more valuable.

Ok its on the inter net now. its official. http://www.realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives...ed_for_tj_ford/Yea i dont like this for Milwakee. I dont think Villanueva will fit there.
I like this trade for both teams. Obviously it clears the logjam for the Raptors and gives them a true PG, but the Bucks also got a future All-Star to go with Bogut (along with their current All-Star Redd), and can possibly make a move for a veteran PG that, while not as good as Ford, can help them now, or even another young PG to go with CV and Bogut. I don't know who they'd trade, although it looks to me like maybe it'll be Bobby Simmons. I don't know, though.
