It seems like alot of the weaker, non-playoff teams are making good moves to make themselves better, but there definitely won't be a playoff spot for all of them. So which team will disappoint and do worse than expected? Toronto? Boston? Orlando?
I'll wait until something happens, IF it even does. But all I can say is Toronto just got themselves a nice young PG, and we (Celtics) also made a few solid moves on draft night, adding two nice young guards and also adding defense. Orlando has done nothing yet, but I love the Redick pick. I don't know, it's too early to tell, tomorrow free-agent negotiations begin so expect to see the rumors fly lol.
I unfortuanltey will say that Boston might be dissapointing. I dont expect Toronto to do anything so they arent even going to be a dissapointment if they do bad in my opinion. But i honestly have been on Orlando as a team that could break out this season so i am not going to change now. They added a shooter which is somebody that will fit in PERFECTLY with that team if his injuries dont become too serious. I also dont think that Boston is done making deals this offseason so they might be able to get better IMO. Im just honestly not sure at this point. I wouldnt be suprised if both Boston and Orlando made the playoffs.
I think Chicago isn't going to get really much better just yet and are going to be erratic because they're so young. Same thing with Orlando, although Orlando has much more room to improve and I think are going to get into the playoffs. Oh, and the Kings when Ron Artest puts a bullet through Mike Bibby's head after a tough practice in November.

And I don't think people expect to much from the 3 teams you said so I don't think they can disappoint. All though I do think Orlando should make the playoffs next season. So I guess maybe Memphis, and Houston could disappoint.

Well that Battier trade was horrible, and it just seems Yao and Tmac are I don't want to say injury prone but how are we supposed to know that won't happen again.Isn't back and foot problems a chronic thing?

Last season T-Mac was injured, and if he is next season that team would be a disappointment because we know they won't make the playoffs with out T-Mac.
i guess TMac could get injured again and that would hurt. I was also thinking Milwaukee might miss the playoffs. I don't know, i think they got hurt from that deal with Toronto. They gave up a rare talent for a not-so-rare talent. They will probably give up Magloire for close to nothing, and i just see other teams passing them up.
The Pistons will make the playoffs, but will disappoint after getting a 6 or 7 seed. I just don't see how longer these 5 can play together at the same level.
Why is it, that the Pistons make the Conference Finals, play badly once, and now they are a 5th or 6th seed? It makes no sense. Do you guys remember that these guys set a franchise record for wins last season? And suddenly they are going to fall down 5 seeds jsut because they didn't play that well in the playoffs? You people absolutely baffle me. It's amazing. Because the Pistons fared better against Miami than Dallas, against the eventual NBA Champions, they are going to struggle next year? You people really need to beef up your logic

I think the Pistons are probably going to be the 1 seed in the East anyways, because Miami just doesn't seem to be interested in the regular season. I don't think Detroit's getting any better, though. Prince is the only one that I see making strides in his game.
How do you know that Ben Wallace will get re-signed? Plus, at one point one of their starters is going to get hurt. Just because they played badly doesnt mean that they will be bad and I agree. Im just saying that Billups won't have the same kind of year that he had last year and the Wallace sitiutation is not even settled yet.

Yao already cured his foot injury by surgery but he broke it at the end of the season(I think ) But I don't know if havn't heard the news with TMac on 610. He said hes taking rehab everyday, The problem wasn't his back the whole time and he says hes 100% now. But he's still taking rehab just incase.
