Unfortunately I can't get that station where I live so I'm upset. I may not like the broadcasters but I love having a station that talks Blazers 24/7. Im extremely disappointed!
Blazer Cable wasn't that long ago HCP. There were a lot of the 90's that a lot of fans were radio dependent for their Blazer games. If you don't have comcast, you're kind of out of luck. And not all of us get to work the games and travel with the team.
That's not what I meant FAMS. Just asking who actually listens to Wheelz call the game? With TV/internet.
There are times when I'm busy and in the car when I listen to the games before I get home to watch it on the TV.
I can't remember the last time I heard an entire game on the radio but last year for different reasons I heard parts of 15, maybe 20 games in the car.
There were certain games that I wanted to hear while I was coming home from school for the weekend and had to listen to on the radio. The girl I was driving home with was getting as bored as I was listening to Wheels so we actually pulled over at a starbucks in Salem and watched a stream of it on my laptop before continuing the journey. By no means am I upset about losing the clarity of the games, just the overall signal strength of FM in general makes talk radio tolerable in the first place. TV is always preferable but trying to follow a radio broadcast is hard enough as it is. Plus, in my car with the infamous BMW iDrive system I'm going to need a 6 week course just to figure out how to switch to AM stations.
I fully understand that people like crappy things. That's on them though and doesn't bother me one bit.
I dont like this move at all due to the signal/sound quality of FM vs AM. I personally think John Lund's show is the best show on The Game... besides Blazer Broadcasting programming.
