    It's funny that you hear how really dark black women (hate saying it that way) aren't considered "attractive" by certain societies and that it's mixed races that are considered more attractive.

    Answer me this, when was the last time you saw a super super SUPER pale white woman and thought "dayam! I want me some of that!"?

    Well, besides the time HCP was drunk and saw himself in the mirror, thinking he was his own sister.

    I've found pale/fair-skinned women quite attractive, and in West Africa saw some very attractive, "dark black" as you'd call it, women.

    Some pale women are attractive, just as some dark black women are. I would say that the vast majority of dark black women I see are not very attractive to me. Light skinned or mixed seem to have a very high chance of being attractive.

    A study I read some time ago--and one with which seems to line up with my experiences in singledom--found a couple of things:

    1. Men don't discriminate against women based on race.
    2. Women discriminate based on race.
    3. Every race of women prefer their own race, except for Asian women who are apathetic between white and Asian guys.

    As a result of this, Asian woman/white guys is the most common interracial coupling.

    I don't recall the source or the exact methodology (was it only the US? Maybe) but I would believe that.

    Personally, I haven't found many African American chicks attractive (I've only dated one, and she was half Korean) but... that might be because of where I go when I go out AND that not many are going to find ME attractive.
