I don't know if this has been posted yet: http://ken-berger.blogs.cbssports.com/mcc/blogs/entry/11838893/29511499 Dude nails it.
In about 10 years from now Cho will be a nice piece of Blazers trivia. The GM that signed a 3 year deal only to never take part in a draft.
Hmm... I don't think so. First of all, I don't think the Blazers are an "embarrassment"... an embarrassment to whom? That's just silly to me. And, not to be an asshole, but: who cares if Cho never gets another job? I mean... if he was unfairly fired, presumably his firing won't reflect poorly on him. If he was fired for being less than the Blazers need, then they SHOULD fire him. They shouldn't wait around another year or two so Cho's resume looks better after he's fired. I think that the Blazers are making a mistake by zigging and zagging, but I am not going to overreact when so few facts are available. Ed O.
I wonder if that's possible. Not LIKELY, of course, but I wonder if either/both sides would consider it. Ed O.
While Rich Cho never impressed me much, this just shows how Paul Allen and his meddling ways is ruining this franchise.
If only Roy and Oden had been able to stay healthy. We'd have a stable title-contending team and probably KP still in charge. It sounds like KP may not have been fired for pure performance-related issues, but I think the general disappointment afflicting the franchise probably made the firing easier. If they were challenging for titles, they probably don't make such a drastic change. Oh well.
