Michigan State Spartans guard Russell Byrd has had another setback. The school says Byrd will have surgery on his left foot Friday. He missed his freshman season with an injury to that same foot. Michigan State expects the 6-foot-7 Byrd to be out for four months, giving him time to recover and potentially be ready to play at the start of the season.
