Same type of player. I think it's a good signing for the Clips.</div>Ow wow I think this is good for the Lakers getting Vlad. And about Tim Thomas I don't know if the Suns will miss him. Clippers lost Vlad so I guess that's why they went after Tim Thomas, but I would not have done that just yet maybe waited a little. This is the first day of free agency I think they rushed into it to fast. But I guess it's alright not great of course, but a solid sign. But not sure why he got 4 years.

I can't believe he got four years!!

Wow...these guy is such a dink. He leaves a system in Phoenix where he's very comfortable in to go to a team like the Clippers whom the Suns played in the playoffs. How can you leave a team that has Steve Nash and Shawn Marion on it, along with Amare Stoudemire coming back for next year. Disgraceful. :no3:

I also dont know why the Clipps would be fine with letting Radmonovic go, but then bringing in Tim Thomas. They are exactly the same players. Thomas did get more attention during the playoffs though, he was very clutch in last-second situations for Phoenix.

That's because both Vlad and Cassell turned down multi-year deals with Clips. Clips did not let him go. He left on his own accord. Also, Cassell and Tim Thomas clashed in Milwaukee. I wonder where Sam lands this year.

Amare, Marion, Diaw, Kurt Thomas all in front of him on the depth charts with James Jones right there with him. He did the smart thing in taking the money to play on a team which is close to contending in which he will be able to play more often.

Why is thomas getting so much hate? He went from playing reserve in chicago, to being in the 2nd half of the year, clearly one of the best 6th men in the game. He does plays solid D, shoots well, and rebounds, and has a big stature. Not a bad player at all.

i think its a bad move for thomas as he aint gettin any younger or any more talented he should have stuck with phoenix who r gunna win a title very soon, the clips are way off,i mean honestly denver died and the suns who they battled with where depleated, unless they get given a garnett or ai they not gonna win a title... not in thomas's career anyway

Have any of you guys followed this guy over the last 8 years? My lord. He played like sh*t for the Bucks and robbed us of $66 million dollars... Who cares what he did with the Suns, that offense can make anyone good. The guy has loads of talent but he just doesn't give a damn.

He is a good defender, he isnt an amazing defender. Hes streaky on defense, kinda like your kobe bryant. And 6-7 boards is not bad at all from sg-sf.

He locked up Dirk? After that series, people were calling Dirk the best player in the NBA! Yes there were a few games where Dirk didn't perform to expectations, but that was more from simply missing open jumpshots, playing unaggressively. You call allowing 46% from the field from Dirk, who plays a perimiter style offense, while averaging 25 PPG and 13 RPG shutting him down? Playing good defense?Errr...No

I think they took a pretty big chance giving him 6 mil a year. But hey, everyone is overpaid nowadays.

I didn't see it...heck even that 13 point perfomance Dirk put up was more his own fault than anything the Suns did...that was a pretty dumb statement right there.
