Seems to me there were quite a few people on this board that said neither had a chance before the playoffs started.

God, the Heat will be insufferable if they win. To paraphrase Princess Leia: "You must see this championship safely delivered to Marc Cuban in Dallas. This is our most desperate hour. Help us, Dirk Nowitski. You're our only hope."

After watching an 18-2 run in 3:02 where they handed miami the game on the best team in the NBA's home court, I must say the fix is in! Lebron clearly fouled D Rose on the final shot for three, while wade shot fouls not even 40 seconds earlier for the same offense. Stern wants jersey and shoe sales and Dallas doesn't have enough star power to compete! Ring the bell Stern, your WrestleMania is about to begin!!!

It looks like Miami all the way, but I hope Dallas makes it competitive.

Dallas has plenty of stars. Dirk and Kidd are quite possibly both top 5 at their positions all time.

After looking at both the heat and the mavericks dancers I say the the tip off between the two teams should feature both sets of dancers in a giant pool full of chocolate pudding while wearing there dancing uniforms try to get the ball to there team.

Actually Boozer had a hold of Wade's jersey.... so technically it was a foul.

What the hell is he promoting?

I think the NBA would prefer Dallas wins this one. If MIA wins, then the story is resolved. If not, then there's all sorts of drama and interest during the lockout about James, Wade and Bosh working together to win a championship.

Is there any chance of Caron Butler playing in the finals?

I'm rooting whole-heartedly for Dallas. But, if there's one thing I would like if Miami won it all is that Spoelstra proved all the haters wrong.

    Go Dallas!
