David West actually got consideration for Most Improved Player of the year, Boris Diaw beat him to the award though. Hes still good and Speedy of the bench isn't that big of a deal. I'm sure they want Chris Paul playing lots of minutes. JR Smith is probably going to be gone by next season, his attitude has made him a problem. Hes been working to get in better condition though and there should be a few team looking around to get him. Hornets will be like the Sixers of this year IMO, this year. They'll make a push for the 8th seed and will drop off at the end.

Even though they seemed like they just had a 10 times better season than we did, we both had the same record.
I'm still not impressed with that lineup. You still have no shooting, as Peja would be your only guy. You also get worse defensively on your starting line-up. I think in the end it makes them deeper, and a tad better, but they still are far from the playoffs
http://realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/412...leaves_indiana/He agreed to terms of a $64M deal. Wow... big money.

And he is only 25 that's great. I did not think he had those kinda #'s. He is better then I thought,But yea there are a lot of good teams in the Westeren Conference, but they should have a good shot to make the playoffs next season anyway.
I'm happy to see a proven 20ppg scorer actually get $12 million a year. This is a good signing for them, the Pacers got nothing for Ron Artest what a stupid move by Larry Bird.

What were they thinking the Sixers would have gave them Sammy, Korver, and the pick even for Artest instead they got nothing. And a lot of other teams would have gave them better stuff for Artest. It's like they rented Peja.
