McCamey is 6'3" 205 pounds. Durant is 6'10" 215 pounds. You might notice a difference in thickness. Kevin Durant's build limits how much muscle he can put on. McCamey is a pretty thick guy. Not being able to bench 185 shows a pretty obvious lack of work ethic.
At 6'3" 205lbs and unable to bench 185lbs once is weak. Clear lack of work ethic. With his build, maybe 2 or 3 weeks consecutive in the gym doing bench he should be able to get it at least a couple times. Guy is a headcase.
Well like I said it's not the most critical athletic measurement for an NBA'er but I do worry when a physically mature senior like McCamey with shorter arms (and yes that makes a difference in weight lifting) and a thicker build can't do it versus a waifish 18-19 year old.
McCamey is talented, he's just got shitty work ethic and an attitude problem. I think Nate could fix him actually.
That screams "Jamaal Tinsley" to me. These guys are usually "fixed" by bouncing around various shitty leagues for a while, or they are unfixable. He probably needs to go undrafted.
They were corrupted from the start. McCamey would be coming in as a rookie. And hey, if it doesn't work out, it's just a second round pick.

Watch a few UW games from 2 seasons ago. You have never heard someone yell "And 1" as often as MBA. He got better about shutting up this year, but his Junior year was brutal.
http://www.oregonlive.com/blazers/index.ssf/2011/06/trail_blazers_to_bring_oregon.html I'm so-so on Singler. He's a guy who would have been a late lottery pick had he came out a year earlier.
So, today's the day for the first workouts in Portland. Do we have any idea who will be covering them and tweeting info?
There have been plenty of solid white role players in the NBA. If your drafting late in this draft and you want a star, aint gonna happen, captain.
Sooo... what's happening on the workout front? In previous years Mike Barrett did excellent blog coverage of the workouts, but he's been quiet since the end of the season. Is this a new policy? In related news I googled "trail blazers workouts" and got this: Obviously if you intrigue our scouting crew, they keep tabs on you. Pargo has gone on to become a big star in Europe, but I think he just re-upped with his Israeli team (that was runner up in the Euroleague final this year). Here's an even older one:
