Pretty harsh shot. You can see where the 2012 is going. Straight at Obama. Kid gloves are off. http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/ap/top/all/7592209.html I fucking dig it.
That's where you have to go to beat him. He has failed America, but I think he will still be re-elected because of all the minority voters.
I agree. But they have to stop pussy footing around stupid issues that don't matter. Look at his record, its horrible. His ideas are shit. At a minimum, its good to break down the walls.
I couldn't agree with you more. Here in Houston we had a political race that was awesome. Some incumbant was constantly trying to skate the issues, and the challenger was outstanding at forcing him to answer. The first debate literally had no questions answered because the challenger would not accept the incumbants answer. He kept saying. "That is not what the question was" Over and over. That incumbant lost badly because the people just wanted an honest answer. The challenger answered the question extremely honest. He also answered every single attack against him. One was for a dui he had while in college. The incumbant was all over it, but the challenger just said absolutely I did it. I went to a party, drank a lot, like I did at several college parties, and drove home. LOL the incumbant had no idea what to do with that.
Good timing by Romney after yesterday's slaughterhouse on the Dow and the housing double dip confirmation and tomorrow's supposedly TERRIBLE jobs report. No one remembers OBL dead now. Its going to be all about the economy.
we need the Bachmans and the Palins of the world to go away. If anything gets Obama re-elected, its those shitheads.
Although there are many things I like about Obama, I think it’s a fair assessment to say he has failed America. The unemployment rate is probably closer to 16% [http://articles.moneycentral.msn.com/learn-how-to-invest/The-real-unemployment-rate.aspx ]. And while I realize the article is old, it explains what the true unemployment rate is and how the rates are determined. This, to me is unacceptable and part of the blame has to fall on the president’s shoulders. His policies (and potential stated policies) and caused layoffs (oil industry), non hiring (many articles about corps sitting on mounds of cash too worried over the administration’s punitive policies aimed at big business) and sending jobs out of the country. Add to that, after watching Obama rape bond holders at GM (an unprecedented move in the history of the country) and then giving the majority ownership to a union after giving the union billions of dollars is enough to make all big business shudder. He’s lost any trust factor he may have had. The healthcare plan was opposed by more than half the citizenry, is probably unconstitutional and when fully running may cause healthcare non union insurance industry to quite possibly fail (with millions of layoffs) in lieu of a single national plan. There were much better alternatives available. Commodity inflation with energy, gas, groceries… have risen faster than increases in pay. With respect to disposable income, Americans are worse off than two years ago. Things that have gone down that make it appear the rate of inflation is flat are big ticket items like cars & houses, which are becoming increasingly more difficult to buy. The deficit has risen so dramatically as a direct result of the administration that we have entered into a non stop glide path to insolvency that our children will have to pay for. So, in many ways, the change promised was either non existent, divisive or just plain bad. Sadly, so much damage has been done that we will never recover. We will simply have to live with the consequences. Now, all that said, I’m not so sure McCain would have done much better.
