If anything, Miami is the team we should've been 2 years ago. Or maybe next year.

But alas, these next 10 years will be dark times for the NBA.

One almost wishes that the players union and NBA never resolve their issue and that Lebron wins 10 rings so that the NBA becomes bankrupt and we loyal fans, we true fans, will never have to deal with heartbreak and hopelessness ever again. Unless you're Mixum. In which case, you're always going to be heartbroken and hopeless. And probably homeless and a drunkard. But unbanned and free to roam. Mixum, the truest free one of us all. How sad is that?

I don't know what this means? ... Two years ago we were just getting done being bounced by the Rockets and had just whiffed on Hedo Tukoglu. I don't see the parallel.

"Should have been" = no injuries to Roy and Oden. I'm assuming that's what he means. A fully healthy Roy, Oden and Aldridge, with Miller and Batum (to say nothing of Matthews and Wallace who were added later and could have been even with a health Roy and Oden) would be pretty spectacular.
