This draft is ridiculously stacked. If most of the elite freshmen leave early this could be one of the better drafts in the last 20 years. I really hope Greg Oden leaves and gets an early start at his NBA career. Here are some of the guys that are eligible and seem likely to go. Gred Oden Kevin Durant Thaddeus Young Ante Tomic Yi Jianlian Brandan Wright Joakim Noah Julian Wright Josh McRoberts Tiago Splitter Luc Richard Mbah a Moute Roy Hibbert Marcus Williams Spencer Hawes Ronald Steele Marco Bellinelli Al Horford Corey Brewer Brandon Rush Mario Chalmers My lord that is stacked.

There's also Julian Wright. I love that kid's game. But alot of it depends on if these guys actually enter the draft. Almost every player is an early entry candidate.

07 and 08 are stacked. I'm not sure Oden is going to come out after freshman year though, as well as some of these other HS prospects (But Kevin Durant is going to be a star) so you can't book them yet. But even if these guys don't come out right away, this is still a very nice draft with more star talent than this draft.

I really don't expect Oden to leave freshman year.

Yeah that list is stacked. I cant wait for the draft. I dont see Oden leaving after one season though. I read the article on him in SLAM 99 and he seems like the type of guy who really wants to get his game better and knows he's fully ready then leave for the NBA. Also I thought I read somewhere he says he wants to stay 4 years at Ohio State.

Marcus Williams was drafted to the Nets wasn't he?Yeah that would be stacked, especially if all the Froshmen come out like Ellington, Oden, Durant, and Thad Young.

Thanks for the clarification. I didnt know about him. He had a good freshman year, and by the scouting report he looks kind of like a good Jalen Rose..

2007 is definently a draft to keep all of your picks, even the 2nd round could be stacked.

I bet anything that Oden stays until his Junior season. I beleive he will put up Tyler Hansbrough stats in his freshman season, and progress very nicely. By his junior year, he should be an All-American. Then he enter the draft and get selected first by the Charlotte Bobcats. Which had me thinking..... If Oden did come out Freshman year and the Bobcats were the worst team, they would skyrocket to an easy contender. The line-up would look something likePG- Raymond FeltonSG- Adam MorrisonSF- Gerrald WallacePF- Emeka OkaforC- Greg Oden- They could be really good for years to come and easily develop into a championship team.

Man I hope Oden comes out after his freshman year because I can't wait to see him in the NBA. But I agree he just doesn't seem like a one and done player.

one of my favorite guys in the draft is Corey Brewer. I loved him in the Championship game, and another game i saw him in, and he even got a triple-double during the season. And i'm pretty sure that Durant will likely come out next year.

Oden is the type of player that could be a first team All American in his freshmen season. He'll easily be the best player in College by his junior yearif he stays that long.

Brewer is a solid defender, and has very good defensive awarness, as I observed in the championship game against UCLA. Hibbert really shined this past season, he's got a great body for the NBA and I'm excited about him. Noah can do everything, he's got great ball-handling skills for a 7-footer, very dominant underneath the basket, swat machine, and has a solid jumper, too. Splitter also is a guy that I like even though I tend to dislike international players.
