At least our terrible front office is keeping the media guys busy. Not hard to find material for articles and radio shows with this circus!

I can't even imagine what they have to trade us for Greg. They do realize he can't just up and sign with Miami....Don't they?

Miami's roster outside Wade/LBJ is worse than garbage. A LOT worse.

I would assume no. Unless they mean two years from now. Or two seasons from now.

I hate this kind of journalism and media. Straight crap. That show is a joke and this is why they have no credibility.

I think it fair to assume that they are talking about after GO signs the 1-yr QO and plays out the year and declines any trades. Then HE CAN sign with Miami for any available cap or exception salary slot.

Since Miami won't be under the cap anytime this side of ever, he'd have to take the MLE, and pass up a lot of money.

Hey now, this show talks about the Blazers during their offseason . . . that is a good show in my book.

In fact the reality of the situation is you are more likely going to get straight talk from that show vs. courtside.

Lame ass lund was preaching this lame ass story yesterday. he said that he had it on a source "very close" to Oden that he will accept the offer this year and then go unrestricted and sign with Miami to win rings...

People are STRETCHING for stories in this town.

But the guys on it are mostly tools. Just because they talk Blazers doesn't mean they know what they are talking about. I'm sure you are into porn....... there are videos out there with big fat dumpy chics bangin' eachother.........just because it's porn doesn't mean it's good porn. That made sense right?

So the source is saying already that a fragile guy like Greg is likely to give up more money elsewhere to chase rings/ Gimme a break. Dude needs to lock into the biggest deal he could get his hands on.

It goes both ways though. Just because they work for the Blazers doesn't mean they know or will say anything. Using your analogy, there are videos out there with great porn actresses that are only soft porn. Just because they know what they are doing, doesn't mean you will get anything from watching them

I know titles are huge to players, but if you asked me which I'd rather have, the Blazers winning a title or me winning powerball for 15 million?

15 million wins every fucking time.

Players won't generally give up $$$$$ for a chance to win a title until they are on the back end of their career, or have already made a killing!!

Greg will follow the money, it's as simple as that. The thing is, I haven't seen or heard any indication from the Blazers they are going to give it to him. The way the team is answering questions about it is not encouraging. They could at least spout the usual PC line about how Greg is a huge talent, is part of the Blazers family, and is an important part of the team. But no, nada. It's like listening to that Weiner guy answer questions about the weiner picture. They seem uncomfortable talking about it.

It seems kind of hard to hear, but it also could just be negotiating. Remember when KP essentially indicated that Roy was going to be resigned and don't worry about it? I don't think PA liked that too much. The noncommittal responses could just be attempts to reduce the market for GO so that they can lock him up to a cheaper deal. We shall see. I wish they had signed GO to an extension last summer, but it may have been tough to get LA, Roy and Oden all locked up in one summer. Also, who knows what the last offers/demands were from each side. C'est la vie.

That's what I am saying. You don't have to be a Blazer employee to know what you are talking about. You can also be a Blazer employee and not know what you are talking about.

What if it's a question of you winning a $15 million jackpot and the Blazers winning a title, or you winning $25 million and watching a string of 1st round exits?
