<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Allentown Morning Call - Sixers GM Billy King put in a call to the agent of Washington forward Jared Jeffries, a restricted free agent who has received a $2.776-million qualifying offer from the Wizards, according to the Allentown Morning Call.</div> SOURCEThis would be a good signing. It would give us another defensive swingman.
I don't really care for Jared Jefferies because he's only efficent on one side of the floor but he's a big guy that can play a few positions for you. Good luck getting him because Washington will match any reasonable offer and I doubt you want to overpay.
Actually we could use Jefferies. Yes hes another defensive swingman but our logjam is more at the wing positions. I don't know much about Jefferies but isn't he a PF??? Hell though we could use all the defensive help in the world.

That would be a good signing to reduce some of their defensive woes and lack of awareness on the other end.
I don't think he was officially signed yet. Last I heard he was mulling over whether to accept a one-year deal with Washington and become an unrestricted free agent.Anyway, we were interested in him, and he was interested in us, but King lowballed him so much that I don't blame him for not coming. Hell, King is adamant about not using his MLE (otherwise we'll be over the luxury tax, something that Snider supposedly doesn't want). So... barring an Iverson trade, the only offseason moves we will have made are picking up Carney, Jones and Bavcic (assuming he makes the roster), trading Salmons to Toronto, and re-signing both Shav and Willie Green.

We can maybe do a sign, and trade since we can't offer him more then the MLE. And even if AI is not traded we might not stay the same we can do trades we got Sammy, Korver, Hunter, even though it's not a lot who knows. lol But yea pretty much it will stay the same even with a trade, because it won't be anything big with the bad players we have to offer. haha
