I’ve studied HBO’s face off with Max Kellerman preview video of Wladimir Klitschko vs. David Haye at least 10 times, and I’ve got to say that Haye looks as scared as a kitten facing a giant doberman pincher. I’ve seen some fighters that have been afraid before, but Haye really takes the cake. I half expected Haye to get up out of his chair and dart out of the room when Wladimir spit out “Shut up.” Haye literally couldn’t meet Wladimir’s eyes and looked like he wanted to dematerialize to another century.

I only saw a small portion of the video, but being something of an expert at the human mind, can see that Haye looks terrified of Wladimir and ready to run for the hills once this fight finally gets underway. I have my doubts about whether Haye will even make it to the fight after seeing this video. I’m expecting Haye to come up with a back ailment any day now and complain that he can’t make the fight. I hope that doesn’t happen, but it’s happened before in the past. Future events cast their shadows before.
