Even online Belmont betting players have had one eye on the NBA Finals, and the rematch from the 200 Finals between Miami and Dallas has been as intriguing as everyone figured it would be. There is a ton of star power on the floor with the Miami trio of LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh, while Dallas has Dirk Nowitzki and Jason Kidd, but it’s the role players who have stamped their authority on this series.

Game 1 was a 92-84 win for the Heat at home, and this game was won by their bench, which was slated to be at a huge disadvantage for Miami, but those who bet on MLB baseball will tell you that you may get a contribution from an underappreciated area. The Miami bench outscored their Dallas counterparts 27-17, led by 12 points from Mario Chalmers, while the Miami second unit to continued to play strong team defense, as has been their staple all season.

The second game of the series ended in a 95-93 win for the Mavericks, and while everyone remembers Dallas coming back from a 15-point deficit late in the game, most people forget that the bench fought back from their Game 1 struggles to outscore the Heat’s subs 23-11, but Shawn Marion may have been the key to the game with 20 points on 9-of-14 shooting. Marion kept the Mavericks in the game as the Heat threatened to run away with it, and the fact that he outscored Bosh was a massive boost for the Mavericks.

In Game 3 on Sunday, the Heat survived with an 88-86 win in Dallas, and again it was Chalmers that helped the Miami bench remain effective as he scored 12 points, hitting four of his six three-point attempts, which was half of Miami’s eight long-range field goals on the night. The Miami bench was outscored 25-19 by Dallas, but it would have been much worse if Chalmers wasn’t on his game. We bet you would have never thought that before going to your price per head sportsbook prior to a Miami game in the Finals.

Everyone knows the stars are going to get their points, but the secondary players are the key to either team winning the series. If you can keep the Miami bench quiet and place the scoring load on their three stars, you increase your chance of winning. If you can do the same to Dallas, while shutting down either Marion or Jason Kidd, you can beat the Mavericks, and both teams have made this plan work at points in the series. The team that can do it more consistently is the team to bet on in your online sportsbook.
