It certainly was. But if you lie about your sex life, should you lose your job? What does one have to do with the other? barfo
Is that a hypothetical? I'm not sure how Weiner's staffers would know what he was doing with his weiner. Unless he was tweeting them about it, of course. barfo
What also if you are communicating with your sexting pals and coaching them on how to lie as well? His credibility is shot. Only the extreme Democrat partisans are defending this lying putz. Hell, both a Dem senator and the head of the DCCC said he should step down, and that happened just a few hours ago.
Get up to speed on the story. He was putting the women he sexted in touch with staff members who were coaching them on how to lie. You are such a partisan hack.
I'm a partisan hack because I haven't spent all my time the past two weeks studying every aspect of Weiner's weiner like you have? Okay... Asking staffers to coach sexters about how to lie does seem like a violation, all right. barfo
A cooked Weiner, huh? The question is whether his constituents will care, really. I don't feel that it's my right or responsibility, as a resident of Seattle, WA, to tell New Yorkers who should be representing them. If they believe that all politicians lie, and that the vast majority of men are (at some level) dogs--whether they are correct or not--it would make perfect sense for them to reelect/elect him if he can advance their political agenda. It'll be interesting to see what happens next. Ed O.
As somebody opposed to Weiner's political ideology, I agree with this. However, if I was a member of the Democratic Party, it wouldn't matter to me if I lived in Seattle, NYC, or Mars, because he has become the face of the Democrats in the past few weeks. This is why more and more Democrats are calling on him to step aside. He's toxic at this point, and not somebody that I would want paraded around by the opposition going into a presidential election. From a personal viewpoint, I hope he clings onto his seat until the bitter end, because it only serves to turn off independent voters.
Um, I may be against his particular brand of political ideology, but it's not sending tweets of himself that should make him resign, it's the outright lies. I mean, sure, he just publicly lied (we in leadership call that a "violation of integrity") about tweets and pictures. Big deal. But if he's willing to lie about the small stuff that isn't that big a deal, what about the stuff that is? Isn't that something that all people in gov't should be worried about, not just his constituents?
democrats are the only one who want him out now. the people find it pretty funny, don't see the outrage and the repukes see him as an easy target.
So he's going to be a father? Nothing will put you on the straight and narrow quicker than knowing that you'll be THE example for your child. He did a stupid, disgusting and juvenile thing and then tried to take the cowardly way out rather than come clean. I hope his pending fatherhood helps him grow up and become a better person.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Vitter This guy seems familiar, like he did something, but I can't remember what... I know he's been in office for a while. Any ideas? It couldn't have been as bad as sending pictures to women.
He's a scumbag, too. What's your point? When the best you can do is "well, the other side does it too", you know you've lost the argument. Weiner's a piece of shit; it's as simple as that.
