Regardless if the Heat win, I still think LBJ should have went to Chicago for that very reason. + if he wins it with MIA he aint going to come close to getting the MVP.

OT: Has anyone ever got the finals MVP on a loosing team? I doubt it, but I could see Dirk getting it

NFL looked into that because it's illegal and they didn't find anything

As far as OKC, yeah, they definitely pump in noise. Been to a game there when I was visiting family and it was pretty noticeable.

Charles is right, the Heat fans that go to the games suck balls. For playoff basketball I'd almost call the atmosphere "funereal"

interesting. Ive never been to an NFL game so I'm just going on what I read... I know for a fact they do it for Sounders games. When I went there we were in a section with no one behind us, but could hear like chatter behind us it was a weird feeling lol

It has been said several times in the forum that Barkley is an idiot because he doesn't think Portland is as good as some of the fans do. Wouldn't this statement make him an idiot also, or because it's about another team, it makes it ok?

He's talking about fans not the team. Barkley is a character, nothing more, many times his comments on basketball are idiotic, but that's simply him playing his role on TV.

they mic the rims, and during certain shots they must increase the volume (free throws).

And one proof that they do this, despite what people who work that might say to the contrary, is the feedback that you'll hear often enough to not be a coincidence.
