The Manitoba Moose are moving to Newfoundland. The American Hockey League's board of governors announced Friday it has approved the franchise's move from Winnipeg to St. John's. The AHL club was forced to leave Winnipeg after True North Sports and Entertainment purchased the NHL's Atlanta Thrashers late last month. True North is moving the franchise to Manitoba's capital.
