As long as Stern rules, the Lakers will be in 9 out of every 10 Finals. Enjoy this novelty while it lasts.

Pro-Stern historians call the late 70s the Dark Ages because smaller market teams like Portland, Seattle, and Washington dominated the Finals.

This is the 5th Finals in the last 9 years without the Lakers.

    03- Spurs
    05- Spurs
    06- Mavericks
    07- Spurs
    11- Mavericks

    Your theory holds no water.

You must have made that up. Or Stern changed the records to hide what he's done.

I am amazed that the Mavs have won 3 games. I still think the Heat will take this in 7 though.

I called Mavs in 6 before the series to my friend who is a Heat "fan".

It would be the best thing that has ever happened in the history or world sports if Miami lost this.

Awesome to think that Dallas is one game away from a championship.

Miami still doesn't know what to do against the zone. This is sad.

Holy shit. This is reminiscent of DAL's closeout game 4 against LA. Why is Wade even sitting for a second in this game? Dumbass Spoelstra.

LeBron needs to watch Wade and learn how to attack the basket in the zone.

I can't believe Dallas is doing this well despite Dirk's performance. The talent drop-off after him is really amazing.

Barea's in and out dribble to lose House. Wow. that was sick .

Still don't get what Spoelstra is doing benching LeBron and Wade for any time in this second half.

Dallas has really impressed me. JJ is a gutsy little player.

Weak foul on Chandler there. They're going to give them a foul any time there's contact now.
