Kome, Durant, Wade, and Bron....and the Blazers largely on his own. What does his run teach us about what it takes to get a title??
And defense. Dallas' D was largely underrated. But I think shooting and having a legit closer is the most important.
Oh and they never whined or bitched. They always believed in themselves, got back on defense, never gave up or let disappointments stop them from playing on.
I like the makeup of their team and I hope we can mimic Dallas: Scorer ---> Dirk:LMA Pass first PG ---> Kidd:TBD Scorer off the bench ---> Barea/Terry:TBD Defensive presence ---> Chandler:Oden(?)
LOL I laughed when Van Gundy said that people think you need multiple all-stars to win a title, but Dallas just showed all you need is one of the all time top players in league history and a solid team around him.
The bench is the biggest concern and needs the most help. Maybe Batum can be that guy, but he is showing he is not much of a consistent scorer at all.
I think of team work and veteran players when I watch Dallas. Oh, and the best jump shooting in the NBA.
True, though a jump shooting team in Phoenix last year also made noise only to end up losing to the Lakers. The difference is Dallas has much more consistent shooters, our team, not so much.
Question? could patty be our barea? hes small and quick like him and can shoot the three like him if not better... and has decent passing ability....
