<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>The first two shocks in NBA free agency have come from Serbia. Indiana forward Peja Stojakovic, widely considered a lock to re-sign with the Pacers, has verbally committed to join the upstart New Orleans Hornets in what arguably ranks as the boldest acquisition in club history. NBA front-office sources indicate that the Hornets have committed more than $60 million in a five-year deal to team Stojakovic's deft shooting touch with Rookie of the Year point guard Chris Paul.</div> Looks like Peja going to play for the Hornets next season. They are putting together a nice team in New Orleans. Nice to see you again GC34, The Hornets are going to be crazy good next season. I actually think they will grab a top 5 seed. This team is built for the future.

Maybe they are playoff bound, but they still can't shoot from outside 18 feet. They are a great mid-range team, but it has been proven you need to shoot to contend. That is why I don't see a top 5 seed. Chris Paul is an inconsistent three point shooter, JR Smith is as well, as is Desmond Mason, and non of their big men can shoot the three. Plus, JR Smith and Peja cannot defend the ball at all. They are major liabilities.I see these guys grabbing a low seed, and losing quick

They aren't going to keep J.R. Smith, he's been rumored all over the place...I wouldn't put him in the teams future next year.

Yep the Hornets are putting together a team to make the playoffs next season.I actually wanted the Sixers to take Hilton Armstrong like a month ago. Can block shots for some reason the few times I did see him play I like him.

The Hornets GM is pretty smart unlike other guys. In addition to PStojakavic, He also added Bobby Jackson and now I think the Hornets will make the playoffs next season for sure as long as their starting lineup stays healthy for as long as possible. As for Speedy Claxton, I think he's outta there now that Bobby Jackson has just come into the the picture.

A little of topic, but still about the Hornets. Here in Philly on sports final after the news they were talking about who might be interested in AI, and what would they give up. They were asking the dude from TNT for get his name. But anyway one team he mentioned interested in AI were the Hornets. But I just have no idea what they would trade to get AI. The dude did say something about signing Peja so now they have a extra piece. But again our gm want's D not sure why he would want Peja, and he is like 29.Probably a bunch of bs anyway just thought I would let you know what I heared.
