Number #2 ranked WBC junior middleweight contender Alfredo Angulo (19-1, 16 KO’s) is interested in facing WBC junior middleweight champion Saul Alvarez (36-0-1, 26 KO’s) in the near future if Alvarez can get by this Saturday’s opponent Ryan Rhodes. Angulo is training for a fight on August 20th against a still to be determined opponent in Mexico. Angulo is planning on attending Alvarez’s fight against Rhodes in Jalisco, Mexico in hopes of talking to Alvarez after the fight to see if he’d be interested in facing him next.
