Kljestan suggests LIVESTRONG Sporting Park as new candidate

LIVESTRONG Sporting Park left such an impression on the US national team on Tuesday that there is now a movement to make it the official national stadium of the USMNT.

And USA midfielder Sacha Kljestan is leading the charge.

“I was saying in the locker room that tonight you saw a really pro-American crowd,” midfielder Sacha Kljestan told the Kansas City Star. “That’s the most American flags I’ve seen in a stadium, so I hope we’ll have more games here. Maybe it will become the new national stadium.”

Several national teams around the world have adopted a national stadium as their home field for most every official match. England have Wembley Stadium, Mexico have Azteca Stadium, Scotland have Hampden Park, Jamaica have “The Office” and Costa Rica had the Ricardo Saprissa Stadium until the recent opening of their new stadium.

Do you believe the US should have a national stadium? If so, which stadium should it be? Vote now.

I think all those country's you listed are smaller then Montana. Unless they chose Ford Field, they should just rotate like they do now. The US is to big, the population is spread so far out, you need to give everyone a chance to see them.

The above response is far superior to the fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck no that entered my head when I was reading the title of this thread.

Move the matches around, just don't play Mexico in Texas or California ever again.
