The bulls must not like CJ and Korver.

And I like the first deal, but we have no backup PG.

Chase Budinger would be a huge steal if we ever got him

Those are all interesting deals. You can see why they haven't been made though. Each team asking for a little too much. I thought this was the most interesting:

It's going to take a lot to move up to 24, and the 28 and 30 aren't going to do it on their own.

He has more on Washington and Toronto and Detroit tonight. Boozer is involved with Washington and Detroit. Keep you posted.

Ive been seeing on RealGM that people want to trade with Detroit to bring us back Gordon and the #8 pick. Am I the only one that doesnt want Gordon back...or did he learn how to dribble in Det?

What would we trade to get gordon and #8?

#8 could turn into another Noah type player.

Has to be for Gordon or Rip. If its Gordon, another player would need to come back to us

Boozer for Gordon or Ellis is a wash, and we lose a 10+ RPG type guy who is good in the post. Makes no sense.

He dribbles better than Bogans, but that's not saying much.

    Interesting stuff.

It looks like the following are common denominators:

1). The Bulls want to move up at least a little bit in the draft. I wonder who it is they have in mind?

2). Asik seems to have some real trade value around the league. With his age and contract, he might end up being our most tradeable asset.

    Other thoughts:

Having the 28 and 30 picks in the draft is absolutely lousy for a trade. We're better off with a bunch of second rounders. At the end of the day, no one's gonna want them.

We've gone over this before, (and we'll probably do it again), but I'd welcome back Ben G with open arms. As a primary ball handler he's not good, as a secondary ball handler to relieve Derrick Rose when he's triple teamed he's more than fine. That combined with the shooting and clutch play is more than enough for me to want him back.

Obviously it depends on what we give up, but if it's principally cap relief and bench guys then I'd be all for it.

Taj was a #29 pick. If we do that well with the two picks, it'd be awesome.

I'm hoping that the OP is accurate because it indicates that the Bulls and Rockets aren't worlds apart.

While I really like Asik, I also really like Courtney Lee. Lee would be a significant offensive upgrade over Bogans without giving up size and defense. I'd be comfortable with Lee as a starter and finisher. Budinger could replace Korver at backup SF. Hill is a functional big. Also, all 3 Rockets mentioned are fairly young.

Any deal with the Rockets is going to mean trading big for small which generally is a bad thing. However, we have a need and there just aren't many potentially-available SGs that I like.
