<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Whodda thunk it. This is the guy everyone liked, but no one wanted. This is the guy who tried to get a pre-draft workout last year with the Philadelphia 76ers, and the Sixers said no thanks. Now, with trade winds swirling around Allen Iverson, and with Boston being one possible destination, guess whose name keeps popping up? The 76ers suddenly love Ryan Gomes.</div>
I love Gomes, and he's our most consistant/reliable young player, and the most NBA-ready. God damn I have different thoughts on this trade every day lol. What do you guys think? Would you rather part ways with Gomes or Big Al? That's a tough one for me, because Gomes is solid and always will be while Al is still only a role player, but at the same time Big Al has All-Star caliber potential. This is a toughy!

Wow..I knew they'd draw interest into Gomes. I love both of them, and I'd hate to see either one go..But I think you have to take a chance, and let Gomes go here... [IMG]

If you Celtics fans still think this will happen, be prepared to give him up.

IF we gave up Gomes to get AI, I'd be pissed. gomes is already polished and can play in the NBA any night. It would be sick to get AI but if we have to give up a bunch of talented young players I really do not think it worth it.

I figured they would want him. He's just the kind of player they need, someone who plays tough, can do the dirty work. Plus, he had his career game against them. ha

AI or Ryan Gomes?I'd take AI every time. Obviously this wouldnt be an entire trade at all. But if the rest of the pieces are right, I wouldnt mind losing Gomes to get AI, as we likely wouldnt need to deal Perk or Al.
