There is a thin line between "expressing oneself" & "bribing a public official". Why don't we just turn our politicians into spokespersons for large conglomerates? Obama can have a big Pizza Hut(Yum! Brands) logo on his suit & maybe Romney can have a big Round-Up Weed Killer(Monsanto) logo on his. Moderator: "What one promise would you make to the American people if you're elected?" Obama: "I promise everyone in America will have the freedom & the money to go out & get themselves a delicious Cheesey Dots Meat Lovers Pizza, only $11.99 right now at your local Pizza Hut. Participation may vary." Romney: "I promise to cut down taxes as well as Round-Up Weed Killer cuts down weeds. Google employees, like most colleges and cutting edge intellectual companies not intimate with the Defense Dept., are overwhelmingly liberal. They don't need to be told that their bosses have been promoted from their midst and are like them. They know. But why are all you conservatives anti-business? Why must the hands of businessmen be fettered when they run our political system? Why are you in favor of liberal 1970s reforms in reporting campaign contributions? Do you hate America? Reporting requirements make it harder for hardworking entrepeneurs to support their families.
