We have no low post presence with Boozer anyway. At least in the post season where , when push comes to shove , he is easily nullified

We can get what we need in the post from Noah and Gibson if we had a Rose, Ellis, Mayo backcourt , or , a Rose, Jackson, Mayo backcourt

Haha wat? 2 years ago when we had Gordon in the backcourt and no post presence we were talking about needing to add one. Why trade the one we have because of a shitty postseason? Boozer is a post presence, Bosh on the other hand, while he can post up, is used as a jump shooting 4. Plus hes too soft. Idk if wat we get from Taj and Jo in the post will be enough but meh.

Trivia question. On that Bulls team two years ago, Rose and Gordon played a virtually identical number of minutes (Gordon 2999, Rose 3000). Who was 3rd on the team in minutes played?

And we did have a pretty good post guy that season, once we traded for Brad Miller. He was just really old.

Tyrus Thomas. And I dont remember brad being a guy that we fed in the post. I remember him being that stretch 5 that was a 3pt threat

    Yikes, my head is spinning.

SST - Yeah, obviously. I'm assuming these Gordon talks are based on the idea that Detroit unloads him to save money. Things obviously change if we give up important pieces.

FJ - Cripes man! You're way more likely to tinker with this team than I am.

I still don't see a Boozer trade mentioned that I really like. If I had to choose I'd rather just have him heal up and see if we can get 60 good games out of him next year.

Is Omer really worth the #7 pick? I'm sure Klay Thompson or Alec Burks would be available at there. I think I'd do that.

We will end up regretting trading Asik. Commit to him as your starting Center and have a couple of vets like Uncle Kurt or Jeff Foster and let it ride

Noah is a 4 on my Bulls team if I was GM and we can get what we need in the post with he and Taj. Noah had a much better developed post game showing before he went down. He's a 15ppg using his jump hooks with both hands, the tornado that he was hitting before he went down, and his offensive board crashing and getting to the line. 15ppg is a high mark but it is within him.

I keep Taj and bring in Troy Murphy for minimum to pair with one of Uncle Kurt or Jeff Foster also at vets minimum.

I deal Booze for Rip Hamilton and #8 and draft Marshon Brooks or Klay Thompson

I deal Korver, Watson and #30 for Stephen Jackson

I draft Shelvin Mack or Nolan Smith at #28

My final commitment after weeks of musing and going backwards and forwards

    Asik
    Noah
    Deng
    Jackson
    Rose

    bench

    Murphy
    Gibson
    Brewer
    Hamilton
    Mack

    Uncle Kurt
    Brooks

The idea being that Jackson and Hamilton both have 2 years to run and Brooks develops within and gradually phases in to start so that

    Asik
    Noah
    Deng
    Brooks
    Rose

    Gibson
    Brewer
    Mack

Is our core with no salary hold over in 2 years and we simply add vet roles to the team

Nice reworking FJ. and Denny that is interesting news....wonder who itll be then, now that actually makes me think that we can get him for cheap. which is interesting with the way he played in the playoffs

One potential landing spot for Michael Beasley is Chicago. The Bulls really need to add firepower alongside DRose. MIN willing to deal.

Beasley is in the same category as Smith, but I think he might be worse. Although he did play mostly up to potential in Minny

The guy came back to say that Beasley is not our top choice, so he is already backtracking on what he said.

Beasley might be a reasonable guy to get if we traded Deng for a top SG. Otherwise, I don't see Beasley getting more than 5mpg when Deng rests. ;-)

If we did get him, we'd have the #1 and #2 picks from the draft we got Rose.

Supposedly, the Suns are going to buy out Vince Carter. Vet $minimum gets it done.

    Can't hurt...

The Bulls have concerns about Beasley but are tempted by his ability to score. What Chicago lacked in Miami serie

A lot of people say he is done, but we dont need VC the superstar. He can create, and score. Count me in too. Especially at the min.

GM Gar Forman says Bulls will likely draft best players available at 28 and 30 rather than by need

That makes sense, then maybe a ring chaser or FA will fill the need.

Word has it that Knicks and Bulls may have a deal in place with the 30th overall pick for Cash & Bill Walker

No official source but word out of NYC is the Bulls may have a deal in place with the Knicks:

    Knicks get: 30th Pick

Bulls get: Bill Walker + $3 Million

I actually like Walker. Not sure why the Knicks want to give him away for a pick that likely won't result in as good a player. And Walker gives us yet another sub 13 PER player. Gar's cornering that market.
