Brian Shaw will interview this week with former Celtics teammate Larry Bird — now Indiana Pacers president — to be Frank Vogel’s lead assistant coach with the Pacers, according to Mike Wells of the Indianapolis Star. Shaw previously interviewed to be the head coach of the Pacers … four years ago. Shaw actually turned down the chance to interview to be the Rockets’ head coach this offseason upon realizing previous head-coaching experience was a likely prerequisite to getting it.
