What players are underrated in terms of changing the game and getting there team wins?I have to go with Ron Artest. How many people can get you 18-20 ppg while still shutting down the other teams superstar? The Kings were stuggling to remain above .500 before Artest arrived. They went 29-15 with him.

I'm sorry but Peja did ignite the Pacers for wins when JO was down. Cant think of many others at the moment except maybe Sam Cassell, but he is getting noticed now...

Brian Cook of the Lakers, when he's hot he has a little 2 man game with Kobe and just knocks em down. And Shaq on defense, just because he's so big no one wants to drive on him. And any good shotblocker basically.

Melo is a little underrated as a game changer. He can knock them winning shots down also.

Hence why Denver is the worst team in the league at closing out teams. When your star player doesn't have it going in crunch time it's hard for the team to get it going in crunch time.

Alonzo Mourning. Not only his blocking, he just brings so much energy and emotion at times it can be a HUGE game changer for us.

James Posey is the 1st guy that came to mind. He hustles like crazy, he is a good defender and guards 2's, 3',s and even guarded Dirk and contained him well. He is always diving for loose balls, giving his all, and he hits big shots. I love Posey.

Evan Eschmeyer- The standard bearer for today's legion of big white stiffs in the NBA.Wang ZhiZhi- Even the Chinese government has disowned him. These guys change the game so much. They allow the other team to get easy rebounds, They are the best at getting dunked on, and they look awesome averaging 2 ppg. I love the pro basketball rants.

I'm not sure I'd call him a game changer, but there's no doubt he can give you a big energy lift and he was a key part to the team for that late in the season, so I'm glad he decided to come back. ^I am not sure why exactly he insisted on shooting from the perimeter. If I was as ugly as he was I would drive every play considering NBA players would get the hell out of the way of that thing.[IMG]Wang is a stud. He's quite the ladies man.

You know how many leads they blew not even funny. I still think Melo is underrated get's no respect.

Yo Serge, you got any reasoning with your opinions? It would be greatly appreciatedAnd for me, I love Josh Howard. The man finishes with the best of the, and hits open jump shots. Not to mention he plays great defense. He's the type of play that the other team loses focus on, then WHAM!

It is without a doubt, Bruce Bowen. I even feel he's underrated enough that he should get allstar consideration, seeing that Ben Wallace makes the team every year. Hes the only player who can put up 0/0/0 and be the games MVP.

How about Shawn Marion with the Suns as well? Everyone looks at Nash, but if they had another guy that didnt do the things Shawn could do at PF, they wouldnt be close to where they are now. What Shawn does is just very special, and I feel he helped the team as much as Nash.

Now Melo does not get mentioned like that when his #'s are not way to far from James. And also Melo plays better D then Lebron. Well that's because Lebron does not play like any D just like Nash, and Iverson. lol Melo also hits game winning shots. And what does he get no all start selection, and no one mentions him as much as they should. This guy is a star just as much as Wade. Well atleast he was Wade did put him self higher now after the playoffs he had. But I am sure if Melo had Shaq, Williams, Posey. Haslem, Zo he would be doing just as good. I am not saying Wade is not great, but it does help playing with a guy who is so dominant in side. Also Wade's supporting cast out side of Shaq is also pretty good.
