Has anyone here ever sat in one of the suites during a game?

Hey, I'm just curious what the suites are like. I've never sat in a suites anywhere before, but I have a ticket for a game this year and I'm curious to what i should expect.

I'm thinking there will be free food, free non alcoholic drinks, big screen tvs, and probably some comfy seats to watch the game.

So I'm just wondering if I close in my assumptions or not

    Thx

It depends on the suite - some have fully catered buffets, others just have popcorn and canned soda. They do have flat screens and couches up behind the arena seating - but the actual arena seats are nice and all have binoculars underneath them.

They're overrated. Not a bad place to watch the game, but I'd rather use the money to sit closer honestly.

you feel "isolated" from the game though IMO.

I love the suites. The best part is each suite has its own bathroom so it takes 2 min. to go pee instead of 10 min. :)

It's not bad if you're there wanting to socialize and mingle around without having to be in the confines of a seat, and you get to look out at the court whenever you want. But I'd rather be sitting closer up.

Cool, thanks for the replies. I hope the one I'm going to has the buffet. I can defiantly see how sitting up there will make you feel more isolated from the crowd/experience. But this will probably be my one and only time being able to sit up there so I'm looking forward to it.

They're a good place to see a game with a group of friends...where socializing is the main emphasis rather than the game. For a pure game experience, I'd rather sit in the lower bowl.

I liked it quite a bit but as others have said it's best for socializing and not the greatest for just watching a game.

Definitely worth doing once. Depending on who is sponsoring, could be good food and free beer and interesting company. But like everyone else said, not so great for actually watching the game.

I attended the first Winterhawks game in the Rose Garden ..... in a suite. Food, drink, flatscreens, etc. Good for mingling, but easy to lose focus on the game. I think we were watching baseball on the TV.
TV in the bathroom too!!! : )

I've only watched a game from a suite once. I won four tickets in a charity raffle. With my three kids, having access to food and restrooms was indeed nice and saved a lot of time waiting in the food and bathroom lines with the unwashed masses. The quality of the food was also much better (at least in the suite we were in).

So, it was a nice change, but I probably wouldn't do it on a regular basis at the prices they charge.

My friend bought one and sold us all tickets for $50. It was a pretty sweet deal but we elected not to pay extra for the catering or anything like that. The prices were really steep for that. The TV in the bathroom made it pretty sweet because you never have to miss anything, and you do have a waiter to bring you things. It isn't so isolating as long as you actually sit in the seats instead of at the bar stools. The whole experience is great, but I prefer to be as close as possible. You'll have fun.
