It would probably be better for the Pistons if they released him also. They are already an aging team, and a huge contract will only hold them down.

Instead of spending $60 million on Wallace they should spread it around on 3 players that can become valuable parts to the rotation. Players like Reggie Evans or Joel Przybilla for example.

They cant afford to pay everyone huge salaries. So they cant afford the price that Ben could probably get with other teams. A 12 mil salary is alot imo for a 31-32 year old that sucks offensively..

Scott Skiles, a Defensive oriented coach is perfect for Ben and they have the Best Defense in the NBA would only get better if they signed Big Ben. The Bulls are the next up and coming team because of there youth, the Pistons are getting up there in age.
