One of the most underapreciated NBA players that always came to work, ready to put in his time.

A lot of you didnt like him for whatever reason, but you cant debate that he was our second best player last year and he was the glue that kept this team together.

    GoodBye Dre

After initially pouting and being selfish he turned into a good player for the Blazers

I appreciate his toughness, his heady play, and his stability.

Good luck in Denver, 'Dre! Or, is it possible Denver will waive him, and he'll be a FA?

3rd best player due to 10% 3pt %. I like Miller, but for a guy who saw 33 minutes a game, you'd think he'd deliver more than just 2 pts over league average for all guards. I would argue that Sean Marks, who shot 100% from 3 pts was the REAL glue.

    Goodbye Miller. Best of luck.

He prevailed after being hated on so much before playing a game for us.. Roy hated him, Nate hated him and he was backing up Steve Blake. Andre handled it like a pro, and was fun to watch.

Andre is a great player, a true pro, and a leader in many ways! This is a HUGE mistake in my eyes and Dre will be missed!

I loved Andre Miller's game. The guy was a stud. Played hard, played smart, and didn't take crap from anybody. One of the few NBA guards with a good post-up game. I'll never forget his 51-pt. night in a Portland uniform.

I know you won't be reading this Andre, because you could really give a damn about what people think; that's one of the reasons i really liked you. As I said in a thread the other day; if I was on a team (basketball or combat), you are one guy I would want on the team also.

Seems every place he leaves, he wins over the fans, teammates and his lasting legacy is underappreciated. I wonder if he was 3-4 years younger, if the team would have been less reluctant to ship him? I never could determine if the front office and coaches truly bought into him as a core piece?

I really wanted Miller before we drafted him but that was just because he was the best FA PG available when we got him. I never expected him to win me over the way he did with just how professional he was. The guy was so dependable and a true professional. You will be missed on this team Miller.

He was a crappy signing who got us nowhere. Two years of 6 game exits in the first round? We did that with Sergio and Blake. Thanks for nothing, Andre.

Yes, he wouldn't become Quick's tennis partner, like the eager beaver rookies from whom Quick got his dewey-eyed articles. Now that we're getting experienced players, Quick quit.

Don't you mean after he got shafted by pouty & selfish Roy & an inept Nate he actually spoke up about the stupidity of having Blake start over him?

I am going to miss Miller. He was a talented, no nonsense, tough, reliable veteran who had great PG skills.

That said, it'll be interesting to see what Felton brings & if his 3pt shooting will really open the floor up. Also Felton probably has a bit more gas left in the tank than Miller given the age gap.
