Hopefully to the Mavs, we offered him 3 year deal at the MLE, Houston has offered the same as well. The only team that could get him if they wanted to, is the Hawks. They can offer more money and possibly give him the 5 years he wants. Maybe so, but not full time. He is 6"2 and a very poor defender, and I doubt he would survive guarding swingmen full time. Mike James wouldnt want to join a team which already has Terry and Harris playing PG. He wants minutes and cash like I already said before.

I think it is a strong possibilty mostly because I don't think he fooled anyone last year. I just don't see a team picking him up as their starting point, atleast I hope not.

I like Mike's game and i dont know whay Houston traded him in the first place. (well i actually do) and i want him to go back to houston.

Not with Terry and Harris both playing time at PG. Everyone would be unhappy about their minutes too. It just wouldnt work out.

 

Thats why he needs to go to Houston! but i dont know how hed share time with Alston

 

Rafer Alston? Pretty much everyone is better than Rafer. Rafer could have 15 mpg, Mike could have 33..

Mike James - I love his game, but the stuff he says in the media is a mark of pure idiocy. I mean come on, he said he would play for "whoever pays him", then he says he's getting treated like a cheap prostetute, then he says it's not about the money? It clearly is with him. I like his game too, he's a good player, but he has some retarded quotes.

 

I don`t think that he will be paid much if he finds a good team to spend the rest of his career at. He isnt all that attractive as a player,atleast to me he isnt.

 

I dont understand what teams are thinking. Mike James isnt amazing but he did average 20 points and 6 assists last year. Those are pretty good numbers. And for a guy that was said to be an all scoring point guard(which that is what he mainly is), he still averaged over 6 assists per game. If Nene gets 10 a year, he should at least get 5. Houston showed interest in him so that is the only team i could see him signing with. Unless he wanted to go back to Toronto and be an undersized SG. But i dont think Toronto wants to do that.
