I think its obvious that Patty wont be back after drafting Smith.

Thanks Patty for being a great guy, always being the first guy jumping off the bench to support your teammates, and connecting with the fans.

    I don't think it's obvious at all.

    Mills is a PA favorite

It depends. With a 15 man roster, we should carry 3 PG's. We will have Felton & Nolan for sure. There's room for another. It may or may not be Mills, but I think we'll have 3 to start the season.

Felton and A.Johnson are under contract. We'll obviously sign Smith. You think we'll sign Patty and carry 4 PG's? I dont, but I hope we do. I think Patty is such a good teammate and a great chemistry guy that he's worth the 15th roster spot.

Then maybe we should sign him as an assistant coach because we really need some bigs on the roster.

I'd say Armon is the one who should feel nervous. Patty is like a cockroach - he's survived twice when he had a 90% chance of being cut. Besides, Nolan Smith is a lot more like a better Armon. Armon may have a slight edge in athleticism, but Nevada never went anywhere while Duke won a national title, and Smith looks like his basketball IQ is twice Armon's.

    Patty is our mascot!

Paul Allen eats contracts like Armon's for breakfast.

Off court, Mills is a great personality for Portland.

Youtube 'patstacks' and you'll see why he's great.

Would be sad to see him go.

    First Pendergraph, now Mills.

Hopefully PA is scouring video to find a suberb towel-waver for the end of the bench.

Well thank god Paul Allen is firmly in command instead of having a pesky GM make personnel decisions.

So between Armon, Eliot, Patty and now Smith we've got 4 combo guards ... is that going to be enough?

Maybe not. They are still searching for the perfect side-kick for Brandon. He's still the man, you know.

Didn't we say goodbye to him last October when he was the 16th guy in camp, then JP got hurt?
