Dallas is really on a roll right now. Rudy or Kopo alone would have been better than anything they would have gotten with the 27th but both together was a steal.

I agree. I hope they bring Koponen over so we finally get to see what he's like. Of course, now I hope he sucks.

I wonder how unrestricted free agent Deshawn Stevenson is feeling about it, though...

Now watch Andre and Oden end up in Miami and the complete walk of shame can occur.

Our future depends on Oden. If he can make it back and stay relatively healthy we will obliterate Dallas as well as the rest of the league. I truly believe that. A front line of Oden, Aldridge, Wallace, Camby, and Batum is sick!

Agree with your sentiment, but LMA needs a back-up, Wallace at 4 does not suffice.

Assuming Koponen can play. If he can't then Rudy for a late 1st round pick is what we all said he was worth. Not sure who is the moron here.

Frankly if that frontline is available too us, it won't matter if we have a backup 4 or not - the other team will be so beaten up inside it won't matter.

The Nolan Smith pick screams Nate McMillan.

    This was his pick.

Rudy in a real offense will be very good I think

Combo guard in the mold of Bayless.

How did Nate treat the last Bayless?

I think Smith's basketball IQ is much higher than Bayless.

Completely different. Nolan is a head-up player. Perhaps not a "true" point like Irving, but he sees the floor, sees his teammates. The only time Bayless has his head up is when he's looking for the rim.

Rudy is awful. That won't change in Dallas. Remember what happened to Sergio after we traded him? Dallas got nothing out of this deal. Open shots are open shots in any offense and Rudy can't hit them.

That may be the worst defensive back-court in the NBA.

What I find funny is now many here think Rudy was some sort of asset. He stunk the last two years, and he failed miserably against PHX in the playoffs two years ago.
